,
Atlas Shrugged  |The Fountainhead  | Consider these forgotten giants: [....] Ayn Rand‘s Atlas Shrugged has been called the most important book of the 20th Century, and other novels like The Fountainhead are not far behind. She may rightly be called the most eloquent voice against collectivism and statism, yet Rand is left off nearly every establishment list.

• • The conservative legacy of Ray Bradbury
,
Atlas Shrugged  | The solemn beauty of Chambers' Witness or Koestler's Darkness at Noon or Solzhenitsyn's Gulag Archipelago lay open the ghastliness of souls sold to Marx's nightmare.  The flawless spiritual rhetoric of C.S. Lewis' Mere Christianity, the brilliant theories in Hayek's Road to Serfdom and Thomas Sowell's Vision of the Anointed, and the passionate indictment of collectivism in Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged use simple words to make truth clear.

• • The Conservative Legacy of Bradbury
,
Atlas Shrugged  | The left lives on emotions and images. There is no leftist counterpart to Thomas Sowell or C.S. Lewis or Ayn Rand or Alexander Solzhenitsyn.

• • Asclepius shrugged
,
Atlas Shrugged  | parts of rural America, where there may not be a doctor for fifty miles, towns understand doctors’ sacrifices, and they pay for the schooling of a doctor who will then practice in the rural community for a certain period of time. These good folk know much better than Americans in large cities what would happen if doctors did what creative people did in Ayn Rand’s class, Atlas Shrugged.

 The conservative phoenix
,
The leftist tilt of American Jews has long bedeviled conservatives, and bedeviled not the least politically conservative Jews, which is a growing group. This tacking to port, of course, makes no sense at all: those dangerous “social conservatives” are simply listening to Jews read Torah and believing what they hear; “national security conservatives” want desperately what Israel wants – a nuclear free Middle East; “fiscal conservatives,” by and large, follow Jewish thinkers like Milton Friedman and Ayn Rand, whose libertarian views are in stark contrast to leftists like Hitler.

 Lying about bias
,
Atheism  | Those of us called “conservative” are actually a truly diverse collection of devout Christians, Orthodox Jews, atheistic Objectivists, people who believe in strong national defense, other people who believe in very small government (including defense), and the like. While a leftist accepts the whole orthodoxy of Leftism – global warming, CIA torturers, government run health care, animal rights, feminism, evil America, and the like – conservatives are united mainly by their wish to escape the rigid party line of the left.

 Wrongfully accused: Jews and Bolshevism
,
The intellectual argument against Marxism was very effectively made by Jews like Ayn Rand, Milton Friedman and Arthur Koestler.

 Coulter discriminates!
,
In the dystopia which may be our future, an Orthodox rabbi will not be permitted to believe that it is wrong for him to eat a bacon cheeseburger on Yom Kippur, a priest will not be permitted to believe that the Gospel is true, and Ayn Rand will not be permitted to believe that Big Brother is not omniscient.

Jews and Bolshevism
,
Many Jews never seduced by socialist tendencies, like Milton Friedman and Ayn Rand, provided the most potent intellectual arguments against Bolshevism.
