Summer film series centers on wide-ranging issues of freedom

The Dartmouth Film Society set out to be as broad as possible when it came to interpreting the theme [of liberty] for its summer film series. [....] While certain titles in this summer series are clearly about freedom in the traditional sense, such as “V for Vendetta” and “We the Living,” an Italian film based on an Ayn Rand novel, some like “Moonrise Kingdom” explore literal themes of freedom.
