Lou Parris, Spartanburg Herald-Journal (SC) Atlas Shrugged  | George Burnett of Spartanburg says President Barack Obama’s voters who think that the “socialist Promised Land is just around the corner” would do well to read Ayn Rand’s “Atlas Shrugged.” “If they read books such as these, they would not be, as Rush Limbaugh describes them, ‘low-information voters,’ ” says Mr. Burnett. “When you punish hard work, talent and achievement, you naturally get less of the same. There won’t be nearly as much wealth to spread around as ‘spread the wealth’ voters imagined.
