Atlas Shrugged  | 2012 was a tough year. Make that a terrible year. Our government went broke and we have no one with the brains or backbone to fix it. And it looks like the half of Americans who pay no Federal income tax have decided that the other half is going to have to pay for the moochers’ way. Who is John Galt anyway?

• • Voting reform: A progressive voting scheme

Individual Rights  | Ayn Rand, author and philosopher, wrote: “Just as man can’t exist without his body, so no rights can exist without the right to translate one’s rights into reality, to think, to work and keep the results, which means: the right of property.”  

• • Who is John Galt? 

Atlas Shrugged  |Image  | Ayn Rand in Atlas Shrugged called them “looters.” These are the people in society who take more than they give. They live off the “producers.”  

• • Voter reform: Progressive voting rights

• More government largesse

Atlas Shrugged  | In the 2008 budget, OMB estimated tax expenditures as $878B. [....] It is interesting that we are complaining about spending about about that amount for the Prez' health care program over 10 years (if you can believe the administrations' spear carriers and their projections - which you can't) and here is about the same amount in a single year and no-one seems terribly exercised over it (except me and John Galt, that is).  

• Presidentially created commissions

Atlas Shrugged  | Fear not, citizens (and "illegals"), we will take care of you. Well, at least until the well to do taxpayers' money holds out. After that; who knows?? (John Galt, where are you when we need you??)  

• Government largesse

Atlas Shrugged  | It won't take long until there is nothing more to take from the "producers" to give to the non-producers. Then what?? John Galt!! Where are you when we need you???
